Through its forests, parks and green spaces, the vineyards of the Loire wines, we will be able to advise you according to the time you wish to devote to these outdoor activities. Between Angers and Saumur, you'll also find wine routes, heritage trails and natural discovery itineraries for those eager to reconnect with nature.
You are 10 min. away from the highest castle of France : the Château de Brissac. Extend to Angers and you will discover a new fortress-type medieval building. Within a radius of 40 km, Saumur, Brézé, Montreuil Bellay, Le Plessis Macé, Montgeoffroy, Montsoreau will offer you a wide choice of tours.

A shelter for your bicycles is available, and maps of tours, pedestrian excursions can be loaned. We know nice spots around, and it will be our treat to share them with you.

From the Cotiniere de Gennes Val de Loire B&Bs and gîtes, you don't have to travel far to marvel at a château, a typical Loire-side heritage site or an area ideal for walking or cycling. The Loire is a great place to take a nature break, watch traditional boats or listen to birdsong. Whether here at La Cotiniere, Rochemenier or on the banks of the Loire, a multitude of troglodyte caves will open their doors to you for a surprising underground discovery.
